The Golden Week beauty report is officially in, and Old Hollywood-inspired coiffed bobs are leading in the ranks. A recurring red carpet trend, the soft, voluminous style was seen on a litany of A-listers, actresses and artists at the 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night in Los Angeles, as well as in the days leading up to it.
Pamela Anderson, Ayo Edebiri and Selena Gomez are among the stars who styled the bombshell blow-out once beloved by the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and more. Here, WWD takes a look at the best bobs from Golden Week.

Pamela Anderson
Anderson returned to her signature blond at WWD’s Style Awards on Friday night, partnering with celebrity stylist John Nollet to make her “La Baie des Anges” dreams come true. Anderson’s bleached hair was blown and teased away from her forehead, with tinges of pink poking through. Her combed-through curls harked back to Marilyn Monroe’s signature blond aesthetic, but with a bit more volume at the roots.
Ayo Edebiri
Edebiri tapped stylist Jacob Aaron, her longtime collaborator, to style her finely chopped bob at the 83rd annual Golden Globes on Sunday. Aaron used a handful of Olaplex products to achieve the bountiful waves and glossy finish of her hair, which settled somewhere between a chocolate brown and cherry cola hue.
Selena Gomez
Gomez continued her coiffed bob streak at the Golden Globes. Only this time, she opted for a shorter, chin-length cut compared to the length she sported at the 2025 ceremony. The style was courtesy of Renato Campora, who also worked with Gomez to style a similar aesthetic on her wedding day late last year.
Ego Nwodim
At the Golden Eve celebration honoring Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker ahead of the Golden Globes, Ego Nwodim donned an ultra-short bob and a prominent side part. The comedian, who’s been making her case for the trendy cut over the past year, worked with Larry Sims to bring her hair vision to life.
Parker Posey
Parker Posey also led Sunday night’s bob movement at the Golden Globes, curling her fiery red, chin-length hair every which way. Artist Jason Thomas Rail was the visionary in charge of “The White Lotus” star’s aesthetic, keeping her cut perfectly tucked and the waves delicately placed over the right side of her head.
Ryan Destiny
Thanks to hair god Ashanti Lation, Ryan Destiny arrived at the Golden Globes at The Beverly Hilton with a finely trimmed, light brown bob and a sweeping side part. On Instagram, Lation described the style as “regal,” complete with soft, wide barrel waves moving away from her face and toward her chin.
