Amanda Seyfried gave the classic polka dot pattern a spin at Miu Miu‘s dinner celebrating the Women’s Tales screening in New York City on Thursday night.
“The Testament of Ann Lee” star wore a flowy number evocative of warmer weather despite the wintertime season. The white dress included black polka dots and was constructed with a semi-sheer bodice with a crisp white slip beneath, cinched waist and flowing skirt with slight pleating.
A cape effect defined Seyfried’s neckline and included more loose fabric cascading down her back. Gold hardware added an accent at her waist and Seyfried capped off the look with a pair of sleek white pointed-toe pumps.

As for glam, Seyfried’s blond hair, styled by DJ Quintero, featured a middle part and was worn straight down her back. The actress’ makeup, provided by artist Genevieve Herr, included bold brows and lined eyes with a pop of color with her pink lip. Seyfried regularly collaborates with stylist Elizabeth Stewart, who also counts Cate Blanchett and Julia Roberts among her high-profile clients.
Seyfried, along with other famous guests like Chloë Sevigny, attended Thursday night’s Miu Miu dinner to support filmmaker Mona Fastvold’s installment of Miu Miu Women’s Tales film series, titled “Discipline.” Fastvold directed Seyfried in the 2025 biographical epic “The Testament of Ann Lee.”
“I wanted to tell a very personal story connected to one of the Miu Miu pieces I wore in an environment where I felt nervous and anxious, and it gave me an armour for myself,” Fastvold said in January. “Using life-size puppets and choreographed movements, ‘Discipline’ is about a girl stepping forward into the world, visible at last, still unfinished.”
The Women’s Tales film series was introduced by Miu Miu creative director Miuccia Prada in 2011. Filmmakers who’ve collaborated with the Italian fashion label on the initiative in the past include Lynne Ramsay, Ava DuVernay and Alice Rohrwacher, among others.
