Suitsupply is aiming to be a one-stop shop.
Starting today, the Dutch suit retailer is adding a small assortment of casualwear and underwear to its signature line of suits.
The collection includes a pair of sneakers made in Italy from vegetable-tanned leather, a cashmere hoodie and matching sweatpants, a cotton sweatshirt and matching sweatpants, a V-neck and crewneck T-shirt and a pair of boxer briefs, which will be sold in a set of two. The line retails from $49 for the T-shirt to $229 for the cashmere hoodie. The sneakers are priced at $179 and a set of two cotton boxer briefs retails for $49.
“Our main focus is suits and jackets, but we wanted to supplement that collection with leisurewear that’s comfortable when you travel,” said Nish de Gruiter, vice president of Suitsupply USA, who added that he doesn’t expect this collection to get any bigger.
De Gruiter told WWD the new line will be merchandised in stores with the brand’s more casual selection of suits.
