Reef, a surfwear brand, and Lee, the denim company, have collaborated on a seven-piece men’s capsule collection called Reef X H.D. Lee Shelter Supply Collection.
The limited-edition line, which will be available in October, merges Reef’s surf aesthetic with Lee’s classic American heritage. The collection, which is made-in-the-U.S. of imported fabric and materials, targets a higher-end customer — it’s priced from $72 to $220 — and features elevated basics including a henley, a workshirt, a quilted vest, a shawl-collar fleece sweater, denim and canvas pants, and a shelter bag.
“This collection is designed for the person who appreciates heritage and style. It plays on the utilitarian perspective and a great combination of brands, both with their strong heritage,” said Eric Gigler, Reef’s director of apparel design and merchandise.
Reef recently collaborated with London-based designer Masafumi Watanabe on a men’s and women’s capsule collection that will be launching this June.
