Michael Kors is serious about his men’s business.
The designer has named Marcel Ostwald as the senior vice president, men’s design.
In the newly created role, Ostwald will work alongside Kors and Mark Brashear, president of men’s wear, to build out the men’s product vision and creative brand strategy.
“I am excited to be joining Michael Kors at this special moment in the development of its men’s wear business,” said Ostwald. “It’s a tremendous brand with a unique sensibility. I look forward to working with Michael Kors, Mark Brashear and the deep pool of talent at the company to take the men’s business to the next level.”
Ostwald most recently served as the senior head of creative management and concept design for BOSS Sportswear. Prior to working at Hugo Boss, Ostwald was a men’s wear designer for JOOP!, a Germany-based contemporary clothing and cosmetics company.
