Capsule is making a move.
For the fall 2016 men’s season, the trade show will leave its Basketball City location in New York and move into Pier 92, which is adjacent to Liberty Fairs’ venue Pier 94.
Capsule and Liberty Fairs will also shift their men’s wear show dates to Jan. 26 to 28 to accommodate New York Fashion Week: Men’s, which will take place from Jan. 28 through Jan. 31.
“Our venue move to the centrally located Pier 92 is an attempt to make attending market week as simple and time efficient as possible for the buyers in town for market,” said Deirdre Maloney, Capsule’s cofounder.
Capsule, which showcases high-end, progressive labels, will also expand opening hours from two days to three days. The move follows Capsule’s growing women’s show, which took place earlier in the month and was deemed mostly successful by buyers and exhibitors.
Project and MRket will run from Jan. 24 to 26, while Agenda has moved its January New York show to Miami. It will take place from Jan. 18 to 19.
