MILAN — On a mission to expand its reach beyond the family table, Italian porcelain maker Ginori 1735 has set sail.
On Tuesday, the company unveiled a strategic collaboration with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, infusing its Ginori Terrace concept onto the collection’s first yacht, Evrima. The yacht, named after the Greek term meaning “discovery,” debuted in October 2022.
For the project, Ginori 1735 transformed three outdoor spaces on the yacht with a fresh concept inspired by its Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection. Viaggio di Nettuno, which is Italian for the Voyage of Neptune, features a cartoonish depiction of the Roman god’s journey and was designed by English artist Luke Edward Hall for Ginori 1735. The porcelain collection was unveiled in 2025.
Ginori 1735 chief executive officer Mehdi Benabadji underscored how this foray into the superyacht-style cruising arena is part of a broader plan for the firm to expand its vision within the dynamic hospitality sector.

“We are delighted to collaborate with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection on a project that embodies our shared commitment to excellence in hospitality. At Ginori 1735, we view luxury hospitality as a natural extension of our craftsmanship, where design enhances the experience of travel and togetherness,” Benabadji said.
In an interview with WWD in January, Benabadji, who was appointed in 2025, said the brand is primed for growth in luxury living spaces and maybe even one day branded residencies. Until now, Ginori Terrace has been imbued with land-based hotel environments like the St. Regis Venice.
Measuring 624 feet, Evrima accommodates up to 298 passengers in 149 suites. In addition to the Mediterranean, Evrima sails in the Caribbean and French Polynesia, offering access to extraordinary destinations in an intimate and exclusive atmosphere.
Driven by a growing appetite for curated, ultra luxury nautical experiences, Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection expanded its fleet in September 2024 with the launch of the larger Ilma, followed by Luminara in 2025, offering intimate, high-end voyages that continue to evolve the way luxury is experienced at sea.
Ginori 1735 infused the porcelain maker’s spirit into spaces like the Pool House, where padded lounge chairs, umbrellas, cushions and towels embraced Nettuno’s Azzuro or blue palette and decorative motif.
On Deck 8, the Mediterranean restaurant Mistral was enhanced by Nettuno’s Mandarino palette, bringing fresh energy to the open-air dining space. At the aft, furnishings and decorative details in shades of orange, coral, and blush pink add a joyful touch to al fresco dining and aperitivo moments overlooking the sea or ocean. The atmosphere was enhanced with pieces from the Viaggio di Nettuno collection.
Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection chief marketing officer Gaby Aiguesvives lauded Ginori 1735’s potential to elevate everyday rituals and its appeal as a partner for the firm’s endeavors.
“Ginori Terrace brings this vision to life aboard Evrima, where craftsmanship, color, and design enrich every moment of the voyage, making beauty an integral part of life at sea,” Aiguesvives said. The Ginori Terrace will remain aboard the Evrima for three years.
Founded in 1735, before the American Revolution and before the Unification of Italy in 1861, Ginori 1735 plates were at one time among the most famous in the world. Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori’s porcelain was collected by most of Europe’s nobility; among his greatest fans was said to be Napoleon I’s wife, Marie Louise of Austria.
The collaboration extends beyond design with a limited-edition craft cocktail menu inspired by Ginori 1735’s Italian heritage. Additionally, a selection of pieces from the Il Viaggio di Nettuno collection will be available for purchase at the vessel’s boutique, with home delivery service for U.S. guests. The full collection is available on the Ginori 1735 website.
