But the just-released boots can be purchased now for a fraction of the price.

Timberland’s “Glazed Donut” collaboration with designer and stylist Veneda Carter launched in March 2024 and nearly two years later, the glossy patent leather looks remain some of the most coveted spins on the VF Corporation owned-and-operated outdoor footwear brand’s iconic 6-inch boots. And while the limited-edition collaboration versions have come and gone, the bootmaker is giving fans a chance at a similar look that won’t require spending a premium price on the resale market.

The just-released Timberland Patent Leather Premium 6-Inch Waterproof Boots feature a near-identical look as Carter’s sought-after collaboration, but at a fraction of the price.

Side-by-side, Cater’s version of the timeless boots features an even glossier patent leather sheen, but the recently released style isn’t very far off. Like Carter’s design, the new pairs come in classic wheat and black colorways and feature the boot’s traditional padded leather collars and rubber outsoles.

A new addition to the non-collaboration iterations is the addition of metal hardware on the shoe’s Timberland tree logo near the heel, a detail which was stamped on Cater’s collab.

Carter followed up March ’24’s viral “glazed” Timberlands with blue and silver spins on the boot in November. The designer has since debuted a collaboration with Nike on the new Air Max Muse model, with a second colorway expected to launch soon.

The new boots are priced at $210 in men’s sizes and also come in grade school ($120), preschool ($100) and toddler ($90) sizing. Comparatively, Carter’s versions of the boots typically resell for between $500 and $1,000 on sites like StockX, depending on the size and color.

The styles are currently available exclusively from Foot Locker and its subsidiary Champs Sports, both in stores and online. The product code for the wheat pair is A41MWA3K, while the black is A41MWA3K. A wider release has not been confirmed.
