May is set to be a month loaded with sneakers on multiple fronts.
Ahead of the new WNBA season comes the long-awaited launch for A’ja Wilson’s signature sneaker debut, as well as a new assortment of Reebok sneakers for Angel Reese. Female-centric basketball sneakers will also be represented in the annual Gigi Bryant Nike Kobe tribute, as well as a new edition of Deion Sanders’ third model that commemorates his mother.
New silhouttes will also launch in the form of Nike and Hyperice’s $900 mobile recovery boot and Adidas’ 3D-printed ClimaCool slip-on. And on the retro front, there’s the classic Air Jordan 4 “White Cement,” the slightly remixed Air Jordan 1 High “UNC Reimagined” and the first-ever rerelease for Carmelo Anthony’s Air Jordan 12.
