Puma’s Speedcat Plus Gets a Satin Jacquard Upgrade in New Madhappy Collab

The 21-piece collection also includes apparel and accessories.

Puma has unveiled its second collaboration with Los Angeles–based clothing brand Madhappy.

This season, the partnership evolves through a 21-piece collection spanning apparel, accessories, and footwear. At its core is Puma’s Speedcat Plus, now transformed through satin jacquard fabrication and a delicate micro-floral motif. Embracing a lighter, more expressive touch, the updated Speedcat anchors a collection shaped by contrast: archival sport cues softened by texture, pattern, and a palette inspired by the first days of spring, the company noted.

Plus, new knitwear introduces a more intimate expression of sport, with pointelle jersey tops and shorts rendered in Blossom and Olive tones. Throughout the collection, Madhappy’s signature details, like tonal branding and gentle color blocking, grounds the collaboration.

To celebrate the launch of their second collection, the duo tapped photographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch to create a campaign that features subtle references to classical art. Puma noted that the setting is “spare and intentional” with the aim of creating space for “quiet emotion to surface.”

The Puma x Madhappy collection, which retails between $50 and $175, will launch exclusively on Friday, March 6 at Madhappy.com and Madhappy shops. It will then drop on the Puma app, Puma.com, and at the Puma Las Vegas flagship store on Thursday, March 12.

Puma and Madhappy first teamed up in October on a 19-piece collection of apparel and sneakers. The capsule also featured an updated take on Puma’s Speedcat Plus, this time in soft suede and premium leather.

This new collaboration comes the same day Nordstrom announced that Puma is its next partner for its “Make Room for Shoes” campaign. As part of the partnership, Nordstrom will have the exclusive North American lead on the H‑Street Ballet, with additional retailers launching later this season.
