Offspring will turn 30 next year, and yet the British sneaker boutique is just now getting its first Nike collaboration. Rather than cashing in on the opportunity, the retailer will sell its sneaker for remarkably cheap.
The Offspring x Nike Air Max Sunder will retail for just 60 pounds, approximately $80, more than 100 pounds cheaper than the model’s typical asking price. Upon announcing the collaboration, which comes with a bright red upper, Offspring said it made the decision as a way to say thank you to its community and ensure the sneaker is accessible.
“We recognize that times are challenging, and accessibility has never been more important,” Offspring said in an Instagram caption “For this reason, we are proud to announce that the shoe will retail at just 60 pounds. This price is our way of making sure that everyone who wants to be part of this journey has the opportunity to own a pair, without breaking the bank.”

The shoe itself features a solid red mudguard and toe tip to go along with red topographical-like pattern on its base that’s only visible when wet. Dotted TPU overlays appear in a red violet, while the sole unit is rendered in a gray black. To tie in with the narrative, metal lace charms feature a Nike swoosh within a red box and a ring bearing the text, “For the Community.” The year “1996” also appears on the tongue as a call-out to when Offspring was founded.
Originally released as a cross-trainer in 1999, the Air Max Sunder garnered a cult following but fell out of Nike’s lineup until its return in 2024 (not counting an extremely limited Comme des Garçons collaboration from 2021). Its Neoprene-like upper features a zipper fastening, beneath which appears a traditional lacing system.
The Offspring x Nike Air Max Sunder doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date, but more information should come soon. Footwear News will keep you abreast of any updates.
