A rare Nike Foamposite sneaker believed to have been produced with under 100 pairs is set to be made much more widely available during the forthcoming holiday season.
The Nike Air Flightposite One “Jason Kidd” will get a wide release for the first time. Based off of a player-exclusive for the Hall of Fame point guard and current Dallas Mavericks coach, the sneaker mixes two colors commonly associated with the Air Foamposite One: “Eggplant” and navy. The former hue is used for the molded portion of the upper, while the latter appears on neoprene-like portion, as well as the sole unit and shank.
Despite the name, this sneaker isn’t a one-to-one of the pair made for Kidd. It does, however, carry the same “Eggplant” Flightposite upper, with the difference being black sitting in the same places as navy and the addition of his name and number in orange embroidery.
