With “Neon” and “Pink Foam” Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble styles already having been released and an anticipated “Bright Mandarin” colorway around the corner, there are plenty of familiar looks to keep fans of the classic running sneaker satisfied during the sneaker’s 30th anniversary. But for serious enthusiasts who are already looking ahead to what’s next, new information regarding the return of one of the model’s most popular styles has emerged.
Reportedly set for a 2026 comeback is the “Grape” Nike Air Max 95 in its remastered OG Big Bubble form. The news comes courtesy of Air Max specialist @bubblekoppe, who reports that the white-based Air Max 95 “Grape,” which was originally a women’s-exclusive colorway, will return next year.

Reissued sporadically since its 1995 debut, the women’s-exclusive “Grape” Air Max 95 was one of the model’s original colorways and has been well-received during each of its retro releases. The style was released in 2005 in “White/Wild Grape/Dark Jade” and most recently appeared in 2018 along with a reptile-textured LV8 spin on the colorway in 2019. The color combination, which is reminiscent of other 1990s Nike sneakers including popular Air Jordans, was also repurposed on various black-based “Grape” looks.
Beyond the Air Max 95 OG big Bubble releases, Nike has also found great success with recent special makeups on the model including the “Honey Black” Corteiz collaboration and two projects with The Whitaker Group’s A Ma Maniére.
Now, with the Air Max 95 available in what many consider to be the closest it’s been in decades to its original form, it’s only fitting that another original colorway receive the remastered treatment. The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble “Grape” is set to return in ’26, although it’s not yet confirmed if it will be available exclusively in women’s sizing. Readers can expect more updates in the coming months.
For now, the ’18 iteration of the sneaker, which featured a SKU of 554970-151, is pictured below.
