Nike’s Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble was one of the most popular sneakers of the summer, and the company’s sportswear division is keeping the remastered model in the conversation as temperatures begin to drop. From an upcoming Halloween-themed look to zipper and metallic-adorned variations, there are seemingly endless versions of the Air Max 95 on the market right now and Nike has just added another to the lineup.
A new Black/Black/White/Metallic Silver colorway of the Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble was recently released on Nike’s e-commerce store. While nearly all Air Max 95 styles feature at least some portion of reflective paneling, this style takes things up a notch, covering one of the shoe’s muscle fiber-inspired rib overlays with a strip of reflective silver. It’s somehow subtle and bold at the same time; only a small stripe of reflectivity is added, but it brings a new level of visibility to the shoe in low-light settings.

Elsewhere, the style’s upper combines both real and synthetic leathers with a nylon ripstop material. Metallic Silver appears on the tongue branding, mini Swoosh embroidery and outsole shank, but it’s only the aforementioned upper stripe and the model’s usual tongue and heel that feature the retroreflective coating.
Like many of Nike’s Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble styles, this pair arrived with little announcement or fanfare, quietly appearing on the brand’s website. Curiously, the pair is offered a far wider size range than typical Air Max 95s, with nike.com listing men’s 3.5 through 21, although some sizes have already sold out as of publishing.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Big Bubble Black/Metallic Silver Reflective is available now from nike.com and select retailers including Shoe Palace and Snipes for a retail price of $190. The style code for this colorway is IB1667-003.
