After launching the “Triple Black” Air Flightposite in February, it looks like Nike Sportswear has even more up its sleeve for the futuristic late-1990s sneaker.
Newly shared images from @donniebsoles on Instagram show an unreleased Air Flightposite sample in “Baroque Brown.” The previously unseen colorway is notable for using a matte finish on its brown Foamposite shell, a surface which is typically coated in glossy and iridescent sheens.
The toned-down aesthetic fits well with the colorway, which is a predominantly chocolate-like brown that uses black on its various components and features purple accents. Overall, the look is reminiscent of Nike’s ACG offerings and the recently released “Baroque Brown” Air Trainer Huarache. And with a tentative fall launch window, the pair could arrive right on time for cooler temperatures.

Nike revived the Air Flightposite in October 2024 with a relaunch of the original “Metallic Gold” colorway. The release was largely successful, although select sizes can still be found at some retailers. Meanwhile, February’s “Triple Black” style has nearly completely dried up at retail.

It’s important to note that while this Nike Air Flightposite “Baroque Brown” sample’s tag denotes it as a fall 2025 release, it’s possible that launch plans could change or that the look could be altered before on the final retail iteration.
