All eyes are on the 2025 NFL Draft as friends, family and fans wait to see where quarterback prospect Shedeur Sanders will wind up but in the meantime, his father’s signature Nike line is continuing to roll out both new and familiar colorways. The latest Deion Sanders sneaker to surface is his popular Nike Air Diamond Turf in an original colorway that’s also befitting of the final NFL team he played with professionally.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf will soon return in its OG black-and-purple “Ravens” style. Originally released in 1993 in a “Black/White Gold/Black Orchid” colorway, the sneaker features a mostly black nubuck upper that is accented with purple on its outsole and tongue while metallic gold fills in the shoe’s side mesh panels and “Nike Air” heel embroidery.

What makes this colorway particularly serendipitous is the fact it was part of the Air Diamond Turf’s ’93 debut despite Sanders not playing with the Baltimore Ravens until 2004. His stint on the team was brief and came after an early retirement in 2000 before finally hanging up his helmet in 2005. After the original 1993 release, the “Ravens” colorway was last reissued in 2010.
Along with this “Ravens” look, the Nike Air Diamond Turf is also set to return in its original “Emerald” colorway this fall. And in 2026, Sanders’ second signature sneaker, the Air Diamond Turf 2, is expected to make its long-awaited comeback. Other upcoming Sanders releases of note include a “Love Letter to Connie” Nike Air DT Max ’96 set to be released near Mother’s Day.
The Nike Air Diamond Turf OG “Ravens” is set to be released from SNRKS and select Nike Sportswear retailers on May 30 for a retail price of $150. The sneaker has a SKU of HV2282-001 and its full colorway is “Black/White/Club Purple/Metallic Gold.”
