Clipse Just Debuted a New Adidas Samba Collaboration Before ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ Release

But will the sneaker be released to the public?

As hip-hop duo Clipse prepare to release “Let God Sort Em Out,” their first album in 16 years, the Virginia-born brothers have been going all-out with various collaborations ranging from artists like Kaws to Carhartt’s upscale WIP line. Another project the duo have in the works is a special spin on the Adidas Samba sneaker, although details on the pair remain unclear as of publishing.

Pusha T, one-half of the group, revealed on his Instagram story Monday a new Clipse x Adidas Samba LT. The Clipse take on the shoe is minimal, using various shades of cream and white across its leather upper and rubber sole. Near the heel, Adidas and Clipse wordmarks are stamped in a placement reminiscent of Bad Bunny’s Gazelle Indoor collaborations

The shoe includes the Samba LT’s foldable long-tongue design which, when propped up, displays “Thorn” branding. A likely nod to the brother’s last name, Thornton, another iteration of the “Thorn” sneaker was first previewed during Paris Fashion Week in 2023.

That version, which used a traditional gum rubber sole, featured the same tongue branding but did not include Clipse’s name. The pair ended up never releasing, which could end up being the same fate for this all-white style.

A closer look at the Clipse x Adidas Samba LT was also shared by Curtains, a close friend of the group. Given that the pair currently only appears to be in the hands of the group’s inner circle, it’s possible this newest pair will remain exclusive as well.

Adidas’ history with Pusha T dates back to 2012 and has produced multiple sneaker releases. In 2019, the rapper reportedly signed a new multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with the company

Clipse’s “Let God Sort Em Out” album, produced exclusively by Pharrell Williams, is out Friday.
