Angel Reese isn’t a stranger to a Reebok sneaker, but her first shoe for actually hooping in is about to release soon.
The Angel Reese x Reebok Engine A brings the WNBA star’s love of pink and signature logo to the brand’s recently launched basketball model. A pink on burgundy look defines the sneaker, with the former color targeted primarily to the forefoot and sole unit. A gradient midsole sees the toe colors blend into each other, and pink branding includes the first appearance of Reese’s signature logo after it was revealed this week.
As part of a relaunch for its basketball division with Shaquille O’Neal as president and Allen Iverson as vice president, the Engine A is Reebok’s first contemporary performance basketball shoe. Reese herself helped designed the sneaker ahead of her own signature model, which has been announced for a 2026 launch. It’s inspired by the ’90s Mobius line and features an Energy Return System midsole made with lightweight EVA foam an nitrogen-infused Superfloat foam at the heel. Up higher, a molded exoskleton upper provides a dynamic fit while lending itself to the bold color blocking such as we see here.

Reese was the first athlete signed for this new era of Reebok Basketball, as her initial deal was inked during her senior season of college at Louisiana State University. Her previous collections have included custom colorways of O’Neal and Iverson’s own Reebok signature sneakers, the Shaqnosis and Answer 3, respectively.
After inking an extension with Reebok in October 2024, when her signature model was formally confirmed, Reese said in a press release: “We’ve already kicked off the design process, and it means the world to me to have Reebok’s full support and confidence with this shoe and overall partnership. A signature shoe has always been a dream of mine, and I want all the young girls out there to remember that anything is possible.”
At the 2024 FN Achievement Awards, Reese was also recognized as the Style Influencer of the Year.
The Angel Reese x Reebok Engine A will release Wednesday, June 4, through Reebok’s website. Pricing is set at $120.
