Nigel Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 RM collaborations were some of the most coveted sneakers of 2024 and after a reported Air Jordan 7 RM instead turned out to be a new model known as the Jordan 92 MVP, another Air Jordan shoe is now rumored to receive the rugged restomod remaster.
According to Sneaker Files, an Air Jordan 3 RM is expected to be introduced in spring 2026. Set to be an action sports-equipped version of Michael Jordan’s third signature sneaker suitable for activities such as BMX riding, the shoe features key changes similar to those that were seen on the Air Jordan 4 RM. Although in-hand images aren’t yet available, a speculative mock-up was provided which is said to resemble the upcoming Air Jordan 3 RM in its sample form.

Most notably, the Air Jordan 3 RM’s silhouette dons a lower cut than the traditional Air Jordan 3 and also lacks the signature elephant print overlays of the original design. Instead, the mock-up shows a leather toe cap and a perforated heel. The remainder of the upper has been redesigned with added paneling while the bottom’s midsole and outsole appear largely unchanged.
It was originally reported that the Air Jordan 7 would be the next model in the series to get the RM treatment. After early leaks touting the new design as the Air Jordan 7 RM, it was later clarified that the sneaker wasn’t part of the RM line, but was instead a takedown version of the Air Jordan 7 known as the Jordan MVP 92.
Sylvester’s Air Jordan 4 RM was released in July ’24 and served as the debut for the revamped sneaker. Short for “restomod” or “remaster,” the Air Jordan 4 RM was decked out with similar updates to make it prepared for the wear and tear of biking. It was first released in a Grandma’s Driveway colorway followed by a Driveway Gray style. Since, the Air Jordan 4 RM has been released in dozens of inline styles, offering consumers a more accessible alternative to the standard Air Jordan 4 Retro.
While current details are limited, the Air Jordan 3 RM is expected to debut during spring ’26. Readers can expect more updates in the coming months.
