Michael Jordan’s Air Jordan 1 Low Gets Buttoned Up With an Actual Shirt Collar and Tie

Plus a pinstripe upper riffing on suits.

Few may dare to pair a pair of Air Jordan 1s with a shirt and tie, but Jordan Brand is skipping past any debate on appropriate combos by adding a real shirt collar and tie to the shoe itself.

The Air Jordan 1 Low Suit & Tie brings a comically realistic rendition of its namesake to the low-top sneaker. Built with the model’s Method of Make v3 construction, which adds a series of overlays modeled after retro running shoes, black upper features glossy leather overlays with a pinstriped material forming its base. A white and blue striped shirt collar hangs off the shoe’s opening, a treatment that continues onto the tongue with a buttoned swatch. A navy and white polka dot tie is finally affixed to the laces with gold-tone metal Jumpman pins, while the sole unit is rendered in black and gray.
