We’re still in the thick of summer, but for Adidas and Foot Locker, back-to-school sneakers are top of mind. The sportswear brand and retailer recently partnered for a new set of exclusive styles made up of some of Adidas’ most popular silhouettes.
Split between Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker drops, the Adidas “Back to Sport” collection features the Samba, Samba OG, Samba LT and two colorways of the Adizero Aruku.
Foot Locker’s styles include the Samba OG in Wonder White/Clear Sky/Shadow Red, Samba LT in Clear Pink/Legend Ink and the Adizero Aruku in Gray/Navy Blue. The Samba styles both use leather uppers, with one donning heritage-inspired details while the other sports the shoe’s long-tongue attachment. It’s worth noting that while the set is touted as a Foot Locker exclusive, the Samba OG is also available from Adidas’ e-commerce store.

For smaller sizes, the Kids Foot Locker options include a Samba in Bliss Pink/Off White/Pink Fusion and Blue/Pink/Brown along with an Adizero Aruku in a matching Bliss Pink/White look. All three pairs are offered exclusively in girl’s grade school sizes.
While the Samba may have cooled off some since its post-pandemic peak, the timeless Adidas sneaker has become a staple akin to the brand’s Stan Smith and Superstar models at this point. As for the Adizero Aruku, the new model was introduced in 2024 and takes inspiration from the brand’s 2000s-era Adizero PR running shoe.
