Zoë Kravitz suited up with a new look amid her “Caught Stealing” press tour, and slid into New York in a pair of summer’s most talked about shoe, the flip-flop.
After a whirlwind week in Europe, Kravitz is back in the U.S. to continue the press run for her upcoming movie, in which she stars alongside Austin Butler, Bad Bunny, Regina King, Liev Schreiber and more.

The actress and her stylist Danielle Goldberg have been tapping into the simplicity and minimalism of the ’90s, putting Kravitz in mini T-shirts, tanks and slipdresses, paired with simple mules, ballet flaps or flip-flops. Thong sandals and flip-flops are having a major moment this year, and have been referred to as the shoe of the summer. Other luxury brands like The Row have also jumped on the trend, while popular flip-flop brands like Havaianas partnered with Dolce & Gabbana on a collection earlier this year.
“Caught Stealing” follows a New York City bartender Hank Thompson, played by Butler, whose punk-rock neighbor asks him to take care of his cat for a few days, and suddenly finds himself caught in the middle of a motley crew of threatening gangsters who all want a piece of him. The movie was directed by Darren Aronofsky and hits theaters on Friday.
