Tracee Ellis Ross steered clear of her usual unconventional shoes and traded them in for classic suede pumps to attend the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Dinner on Monday as part of New York Fashion Week. The actress let her Saint Laurent dress do the talking, making it the focal point of her look, and kept her footwear toned down.
As a lover of fashion from a young age, Ross has been known for wearing extravagant shoes with creative elements over the years from brands like Schiaparelli, Alaïa, Bottega Veneta, Dries Van Noten and more. When going for more traditional pumps and high heels, Ross has been a staunch supporter of Christian Louboutin’s So Kate heels and other designs by the French luxury footwear designer.

On her feet, Ross wore the Gianvito Rossi signature Gianvito 105 mm pumps. The style is a pointed-toe heel with a slim stiletto heel measuring 4.1 inches. Ross paired the heels with sheer black tights and stuck to the fashion house for her accessories, opting for the Saint Laurent Oversized Crystal Pyramid Necklace in silver and bronze metal. The necklace retails for $2,800.
