Queen Letizia continued her three-day state visit to China on Wednesday, attending a wreath-laying ceremony at Tiananmen Square. The royal made a playful fashion statement at the event, clad in a spring-ready outfit with whispers of pink throughout. One such detail was her blush kitten heels from Spanish footwear brand Magrit, which coordinated with her floral jacket.
The Spanish queen slipped into a pair of slingback heels, one of the season’s most revered footwear silhouettes. The pumps featured a softly pointed toe and a petite heel. These kitten heels seem to be in heavy rotation for the queen, who also wore them during a trip to Rome last December.
And she doesn’t just own the blush-colored iteration — Queen Letizia has been pictured in the brand’s hot pink version, too. Over the summer, she took the heels for a spin during a meeting for the Board of FAD Youth Foundation, pairing the shoes with an equally vibrant pink midi dress.

On Wednesday, Queen Letizia was clad in a Carolina Herrera coat, plucked from the luxury label’s fall 2024 collection. Her jacket boasted floral embroidery, with pink motifs that matched her shoes, as well as a collarless silhouette, padded shoulders, and a flared fit. Although the gray coat is nearly sold out online, the fashion house has a similar-looking black style available right now.
Queen Letizia accented the outerwear with a hot pink scarf, a Magrit blush pink leather bag and rose gold and diamond hoops from Gold & Roses. Once she was inside, the mother of two ditched her coat, revealing a matching soft pink flared midi dress designed by The 2nd Skin Co., a Spanish fashion brand that specializes in gowns. During the outing, Queen Letizia learned about reading activities for children with disabilities at the Beijing Demonstration Center of Service for Persons with Disabilities.
