Kate Middleton Stays Faithful to Her Ultra-pointed Suede Boots for St. Patrick’s Day Parade

She has previously worn the boots during several appearances.

Kate Middleton is the queen of wearing a tried-and-true shoe. The British royal is known for returning to her favorite shoe brands and styles at her public appearances. On Tuesday, she was dressed in green to visit the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, England, and she wore one of her go-to Ralph Lauren boot styles.

While her suede Gianvito Rossi boots stay on rotation, she opted for a pair of Ralph Lauren boots for the celebration. The knee-high boots feature a sharp, pointed toe and a slim stiletto heel that are a slightly different and more modern design than the boots Middleton usually wears, which tend to feature block heels and a round or almond toe.

The boot’s heels measure four inches, and the knee-length shaft is 14 inches tall. The style is made in soft black suede, which also covers the heel. The boots feature a full-side zipper with silver hardware and are currently available for purchase on resale websites like eBay.

The royal matched her black boots to her dress, scarf, gloves and belt, which all decorated attire her forest green McQueen coat. The long-sleeve statement jacket, which she has also worn before, featured a midi hem that allowed just the bottom half of the boots to show.

The tailored coat was designed with a double-breasted silhouette with sharp lapels and hip pockets. Middleton completed the look with with a Gina Foster Millinery hat in a matching green shade. She wore jewelry from Asprey.

Middleton wore the same boots at last year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Ireland, and she has reportedly worn the boots to 12 different engagements prior to this outing, since adding the style to her extensive shoe collection in 2018. She has previously worn footwear by Ralph Lauren, including the designer’s Celia pumps, but also often reaches for Gianvito Rossi, Jimmy choo, Stuart Weitzman, Prada and more.
