Jennifer Lopez united the past and present with her outfit at the Netflix 2026 Upfront Red Carpet at Sunset Pier 94 Studios in New York on Wednesday. She matched a Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2004 look with sandals from contemporary shoe brand Femme LA.
The “Kiss of the Spider Woman” star opted for Femme LA’s Opera Sandal, which is crafted in a soft and lustrous satin. She wore the shoe style in a subtle champagne shade. The designer sandals are handcrafted with a dramatically pointed toe, with a slim toe strap, an adjustable ankle strap and an elongated platform toe box for a flattering silhouette that shows off the feet.

The shoes are built with a premium satin upper, a vegan insole and a leather-rubber outsole for comfort. The style comes with a 4.75-inch self-covered stiletto heel that adds a necessary lift for eveningwear, cocktail dresses and any ensemble that requires a major boost in height. The Opera Sandals initially retailed for $199, but are now on sale for $49.99 in select sizes. The shoes were also made in nude patent leather. Lopez recently wore another high heel from Femme LA, a sheer mule, to Netflix‘s “The Roast of Kevin Hart.”
The shoes perfectly matched her ensemble. She paired them with a blush brocade vintage Jean Paul Gaultier fall 2004 skirt suit, which featured corset lace-up detailing, sheer details on the structured blazer and satin panel and hem accents on the skirt. The garment featured a knee-length, high-low design with ruffles at the hem.
Lopez has had a long history working with Netflix, including “The Mother” in 2023, the sci-fi film “Atlas” in 2024 and the docu-film “Halftime” in 2022. Up next, she will star in Netflix’s “Office Romance” as Jackie, who is the president and chief executive officer of Air Cruz. She runs a tight ship in her business, including a rigid anti-fraternization policy for all her employees. When a sexy new lawyer, played by Brett Goldstein, begins working for her, that policy becomes well-tested. The movie releases on June 5.
