Sneex Joins the Ballerina Shoe Trend With Its New ‘The Ballerina Hy-Heel’ Style

The shoes are available now.

Sneex is introducing The Ballerina, a new silhouette that is now part of the brand’s Hy-heel collection. Joining in on the hybrid ballerina shoe craze, the brand’s The Ballerina offers a more open, airy silhouette that offers the same promise of high heels without the pain.

The Ballerina hybrid heel features a minimal design with the signature Hy-Heel engineering. The shoes are designed with both elegance and ease in mind, featuring a streamlined profile and a dainty triple-strap construction, similar to those on a ballet slipper. The straps are adjustable to create a custom fit.

The shoes’ uppers are more open in comparison to the brand’s original The Icon, The Blake, and The Tepper styles, which followed the design of a traditional sneaker. The Ballerina’s upper is instead made with Italian mesh with suede leather overlays at the toe and throughout the shoe, creating a softer appearance.

The shoes are handcrafted in Italy, following Sneex’s patented design, which aims to create light, stable shoes that are made to move. The shoes feature a 78mm heel, creating a significant yet comfortable boot while offering re-engineered weight distribution, a comfortable toe box, and arch support.

Since its 2024 launch, Sneex has aimed to reimagine the experience of wearing high heels, combining the look of a stiletto heel with the technology of a sneaker. The brand says that 46 percent of its customers return for a second pair, making their Sneex hy-heel a new staple.

The shoes have been spotted on red carpets and at weddings, and have been worn by celebrities like Gayle King, Kathy Bates, Melanie Griffith, and more.

The Ballerina launches on Thursday exclusively on Sneex.com, and are available in five spring 2026 colorways, including Ballet Pink, Red, Black, Swan, and Sunkissed. The shoes retail for $495.
