Prada is reacquainting consumers with an archival men’s shoe style this season.
For fall 2025, the Prada Toblach makes its return in smooth calf leather with a matte finish across three different silhouettes. The new Toblach shoe range returns reimagined, offered in ankle boot, loafer and lace-up variations.
Originally unveiled in the late 1990s in the fall/winter 1998 collection alongside the America’s Cup sneaker, the Toblach marked the first Prada Linea Rossa shoe to appear on the runway.
According to the Italian luxury brand, the shoe pioneered the concept of the formal sneaker – a bold hybrid combining a sailing-inspired high-grip rubber sole with a soft leather upper. Taking its name from the eponymous Alpine town, the Toblach footwear collection aims to capture a fusion of urban sophistication and technical performance, Prada added.

This release comes as Prada continues to focus on lower-profile shoe silhouettes. The label also recently reintroduced the Montecarlo sneakers. First introduced in 2005 as part of the Linea Rossa collection, the Montecarlo sneaker range features a sporty style enhanced with visible topstitching that echoes the dynamic lines of the original model. Inspired by driving shoes, the soft and flexible nappa leather silhouette is complimented by deconstructed soles.
And, earlier this year, Prada introduced the Collapse sneaker. The style is characterized by its thin leather sole and elasticized sides. The shoe was released as part of Prada’s spring/summer 2025 collection, which also introduced Shuffle range of low-profile loafers and monk strap mule models.
The Prada Toblach footwear range, which starts at $1,120, is now available.
