Lucasheva Debuts at Moda Operandi with Exclusive Footwear Collection

Lucasheva was founded in 2022 by Ukrainian-born architect and designer Tina Lucasheva.

Rising accessories label Lucasheva has made its official launch at Moda Operandi. Starting this month, the Vancouver-based label’s range of heels and flats will be exclusively available at the e-tailer.

Lucasheva was founded in 2022 by Ukrainian-born architect and designer Tina Lucasheva. Her signature Indented Waterlily heels have been a key driver for the business, finding celebrity fans in Katie Holmes, Beanie Feldstein and more.

“I’ve always drawn inspiration from art objects that blend sculptural beauty with everyday functionality. For the Indented Waterlily heel, I envisioned a fluid shape that wouldn’t just be utilitarian,” she told FN. “That subtle indentation adds a sense of organic movement to the shoe while preserving comfort. Think of it as merging a gallery-worthy silhouette with the practicality you need to actually live in your shoes.”

Lucasheva shoes are made in Italy and designed using VR technology, which has allowed the designer to experiment with silhouettes, textures, and proportions in a virtual environment before cutting a single prototype. “This results in less waste and more lightning-fast innovation,” said Lucasheva.

“[This partnership] expands our reach and gives us insights into a more diverse customer base. Partnerships like this are a catalyst for growth — they help us refine everything from supply chain logistics to the brand story we share with consumers,” added Lucasheva. “In many ways, this collaboration is both a challenge and a milestone: it pushes us to step up, streamline our processes, and meet higher expectations. That kind of pressure, in a controlled environment, can be transformative for a brand like ours.”
