Kith has opened the doors to its latest flagship store in Japan.
Located in northern Osaka in a bustling shopping complex across the street from the newly developed Umekita Park, this new store marks Kith’s second flagship in Japan following the 2020 opening of its shop in Tokyo.
According to the sneaker and streetwear retailer, the store will carry Kith’s in-house and collaborative apparel, accessories, and footwear for men, women and kids. Customers can also enjoy Kith Treats across the street, marking the second ice cream shop in Japan.

Entering the store, the main room is made with Venetian plaster walls, mountain white danby stone floors and a rosewood ceiling. Here you will find men’s and women’s apparel along the perimeter. The centerpiece is a monolithic travertine room that showcases accessories and lifestyle on the outside and an array of footwear on the inside.

Across the street is the Kith Kids store and Kith Treats shop. The Kith Kids store has the same feel yet is more playful. It features multi-colored Kith monogram wallpaper and is made from rosa portugalo, verde paradise and Mediterranean blue stone.
To commemorate the grand opening, Kith said it has partnered with New Balance to update the Made in USA 992 and Made in UK 991v2 sneaker models in two exclusive hues.
Each color-blocked style features a mesh upper with premium suede and leather overlays. Classic Kith branding is seen on the heel counter and custom Kith for New Balance co-branding on the sockliner. These styles are both executed in a variety of exclusive blue, white and grey hues. The Kith for Made in UK 991v2 is presented in the retailer’s own take on Steel Blue, a nod to the rare New Balance 1300JP Steel Blue, which became a beloved style in Japan following its debut in 1985.
The drawing for the Kith for New Balance Made in UK 991v2 opens on Wednesday, March 19 exclusively on the Kith App. Limited quantities for both styles release on Friday, March 21 alongside the grand opening of Kith Osaka.
Kith’s opening in Osaka follows the opening of the retailer’s new flagship in Malibu last summer.
In January, Kith temporarily closed its Manhattan flagship store for renovations. Located at 337 Lafayette St., the store original opened in 2017. On the Kith website, the store’s reopening is scheduled for “spring 2025.”
