Move over dancing lady in a red dress, Foot Locker is introducing the sneaker world to Shoemoji, the world’s first set of sneaker emoticons designed to replicate 80 iconic styles.
The emoticons are just one element of Foot Locker’s first-ever smartphone app for iOS and Android. The free app is designed to enhance consumers’ digital experience with the Foot Locker brand, making it easier for sneaker fans to seamlessly browse new sneakers that will be released, find Foot Locker locations that will carry the shoes and when they are available for purchase.
Users can also easily sign up for Foot Locker’s loyalty program through the app and access their personal accounts to track spending and status, plus get access to upgrades.
“We know how important phones are in our customers’ lives and we always want to offer them a premium experience with Foot Locker wherever they may be,” said Stacy Cunningham, Foot Locker executive vice president of marketing. “We believe that the Foot Locker App, along with the introduction of Shoemoji, is another great way for us to provide that experience.”
