NEW YORK — Global trade fair organizer Messe Frankfurt will introduce a new sourcing show here this summer.
The International Apparel Sourcing Show is set for July 13 to 15 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
“The premise of the event is a positioning of a high-quality sourcing arena in the heart of the fashion and apparel industry,” said David Audrain, president of Messe Frankfurt North America. “Our partnerships throughout China and greater Asia will grant American attendees access to a great opportunity of new resources over a three-day period, significantly more access than they would have over several weeks or months on the road.”
Messe Frankfurt has partnered with the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade — known as CCPIT TEX — to produce the show. CCPIT TEX was founded in 1988 and is China’s leading exhibition organizer. It is overseen by the China National Textile & Apparel Council and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

After the July premiere, the show will take place once a year and will run concurrently with Texworld USA and the Home Textiles Fabric Sourcing Expo, both of which are also produced by Messe Frankfurt. The Home Textiles Fabric Sourcing Expo, too, is a new show being produced in partnership with CCPIT TEX.
