Despite the slimmer Milan Men’s Fashion Week calendar this fall season, the city was abuzz with street-style action, as showgoers played the dress-up game.

The statement coat ruled the streets of Milan. Elongated, strong-shouldered — oftentimes in British heritage plaids and checks — it served as the dramatic anchor to many looks.
The game of pushing the boundaries was entrusted to headwear, from beanies to cowboy hats and sculptural pillboxes. They mingled with fur accents, perfecto leather jackets worn with dressy pants, Western touches and aviator jackets.
