BERLIN — Talk about a bigger picture. The city’s fashion trade fair landscape is continuing to expand with Panorama, a new show making its debut for the spring 2013 season, spotlighting the middle-market segment.
Organized by Messe Berlin GmbH and Jörg Wichmann, former managing director of design platform Berlinomat, as well as curated by Premium founders Anita Tillmann and Norbert Tillmann, Panorama is setting its focus on the moderately priced market of women’s and men’s fashion and accessories.
“Fashion and creativity are nowadays no longer a question of price,” said Anita Tillmann, adding that “Panorama will reflect this new industry awareness.”
Coinciding with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the fair’s debut edition will be held from July 4 to 6 as the first show in the new Berlin Expo Center Airport currently under construction. Specifics on exhibiting brands for the July show have yet to be finalized, but organizers emphasized that Panorama will feature a mix of international and German brands, young designers and lesser-known labels that have little or no presence in Berlin so far.
