The 74th annual awards show celebrating achievements in television will air on Sept. 12 at 8 p.m., returning to NBC this year. The ceremony will also be livestreamed via Peacock.
This year nominations were led by HBO for its many popular projects such as “Euphoria,” “Succession” and “White Lotus.” Netflix followed in nominations thanks to its own popular series like “Stranger Things,” “Ozark” and “Squid Game.”

Who are the 2022 Emmy nominees?
The Television Academy revealed the list of 2022 Emmy nominations on July 12, with HBO leading the pack of nominations with projects like “Euphoria,” “Succession” and “White Lotus.”
Nominations for drama series went to “Better Call Saul,” “Euphoria,” “Ozark,” “Severance,” “Squid Game,” “Stranger Things,” “Succession” and “Yellowjackets,” while nominations for comedy series went to “Abbott Elementary,” “Barry,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Hacks,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “Ted Lasso” and “What We Do in the Shadows.”
After receiving an Emmy for lead actress for her role in season one of “Euphoria,” Zendaya has received a second nomination for the role. Her costar, Sydney Sweeney, also received a nomination for supporting actress in the series, as well as a nomination for supporting actress in a limited series for her role in “White Lotus.”
“White Lotus” was one of the most nominated projects for the 2022 Emmys, with Sweeney’s castmates Murray Bartlett, Jake Lacy, Steve Zahn, Connie Britton, Jennifer Coolidge, Alexandra Daddario and Natasha Rothwell all receiving nominations.
