The Harlem Globetrotters will begin the celebration of their 100th anniversary season on Dec. 14 with a special tip-off event at Madison Square Garden. And throughout the year, they’ll commemorate the milestone with a series of special events and collaborations.
Among them will be fashion capsules created by four brands: Shoe Palace, OVO, Actively Black and NBALab.
“The Globetrotters have always been trailblazers in popular culture, and these brands will work to expand our storytelling and reach through the lens of fashion and apparel to a global set of consumers,” said Keith Dawkins, president of Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios. “Our research tells us that fandom, and what you represent, can be synonymous with what you wear. So, it’s important that we work with a broad range of ‘best in class’ partners as a way to tell our story and co-create products that people of all ages, from around the globe, can actually wear and represent the Harlem Globetrotters brand.”
Shoe Palace will create an apparel capsule inspired by the Globetrotters’ art styles over the years that will launch in spring of 2026. OVO will design a limited-edition capsule honoring the centennial that will debut in February during Black History Month. Actively Black will offer T-shirts, shorts, sweatpants and accessories celebrating athleisure in early 2026, and NBALab will offer Ts and hoodies featuring NBA teams under the slogan: “Shared Court. Shared History.” Those pieces will be sold in key NBA market during the Globetrotters’ 100th anniversary tour as well as in NBA venue stores, online and at select retailers.
