Florence Pugh Gives Her Goth Styling Streak an Edgy Spin in Francesco Murano for ‘Thunderbolts*’ London Photo Call

Florence Pugh joined members of the cast from Marvel’s latest film “Thunderbolts*” for the movie’s photo call in London on Thursday. The Oscar-nominated actress continued her goth-inspired styling streak with a distinct edge.

Pugh opted for a design courtesy of Francesco Murano’s spring 2025 collection. The look featured a black leather bralette with a coordinated high-waisted pencil skirt featuring a thigh-high slit. The skirt included subtle elements of corsetry, with a sculpted detail at the waist.

Pugh complemented her look with a pair of pointed-toe black heels. As for her accessories, Pugh favored shimmering silver pieces, including statement earrings and cocktail rings.

When it came to her glam, Pugh’s blond hair was styled in a sleek look by stylist Hyungsun Ju. Her makeup featured standout elements such as bold brows, lined eyes and a mauve lip courtesy of artist Alex Babsky. Pugh’s look was curated by stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who’s also worked with Gemma Chan and Simone Ashley, among others.

Pugh’s look for the “Thunderbolts*” London photo call comes after the actress styled an equally dramatic attire for the film’s premiere on Tuesday. For the occasion, Pugh took inspiration from the dark glamour trend, styling a look evocative of gothic romanticism. The actress’ look came courtesy of Elie Saab’s fall 2024 couture collection and featured such design elements as sheer fabric and floral embroidery throughout. The bodice of the dress included horizontal sheer paneling, contrasting with the black base fabric.

Marvel’s “Thuderbolts*” follows an unlikely team of antiheroes who work together to confront a new evil on Earth. The film costars Oscar-nominated actor Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and more. “Thunderbolts*” hits theaters May 2.
