SOUNDS GOOD: Simon Buret had his reasons for attending the Alexis Mabille show Wednesday evening. He and Olivier Coursier — the duo behind the alternative pop rock group Aaron — composed the music played there. It was the first track to be released from their upcoming third album, due out in the summer.
“Everything starts again symbolically this evening,” said Buret, before posing for photos with pop duo Brigitte.
Lilou Fogli has just wrapped up filming “Un peu, beaucoup, aveuglément,” a movie she wrote and in which she stars, directed by her husband Clovis Cornillac.
“It was great — for once we had almost the same schedule,” she said.
Prima ballerina Aurélie Dupont, meanwhile, has a busy few months ahead before her retirement from the Paris Opéra – she will be dancing in “Swan Lake,” “Giselle” and “Manon” between now and May.
“I have to say goodbye to the stage, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop dancing,” said Dupont, adding that she will continue collaborating with Benjamin Millepied, director of the Paris Opéra, in a new role at the theater after her official retirement.
