CLEMENTS RIBEIRO’S NEW MAN: Clements Ribeiro is reviving its men’s line for fall. The label’s designers, Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro, have created a capsule collection of 12 cashmere sweaters in a rainbow of colors and prints to step back into men’s. The duo had first designed men’s sweaters in the late Nineties, when Britpop types such as Jarvis Cocker wore their designs.
“It is about giving men’s knitwear a great zest of color,” said Ribeiro of the collection. “What we want to offer are unique sweaters in the finest Scottish cashmere, exploring the possibilities of traditional hand intarsia.”
The collection includes designs such as a sweater striped with blocks of color that look like a test screen on a television, to sweaters with harlequin patterns in blue, red and gray and cardigans in a mustard and green argyle print.

The designers also showed off the collection in their women’s pre-fall look book, where they styled the sweaters for women with silk dresses and pencil skirts. The collection is priced from 460 pounds, or $550, and will debut on Clements Ribeiro’s online store, clementsribeiro.com.
