LONDON — Shanghai Fashion Week on Tuesday unveiled the official calendar of its spring 2026 edition, slated for Oct. 9 to 16.
Kicking off right after Paris wraps up, the majority of the local big names will show toward the end of the week, with Shushu/Tong closing Shanghai Fashion Week with a 10th anniversary show on the night of Oct. 16.
Positioned as a benchmark event by local authorities, Shanghai Fashion Week this season aims to present innovative fashion ideas centered on technology, art, culture and sustainability, and help emerging brands establish a leading position in the industry with global relevance.
Leading local fashion voices — including Comme Moi, HLA, Mark Fairwhale, Xu Zhi, 8on8, Hidemi, Rico Lee and Awaylee — will showcase their latest work at the official venues in Xintiandi, alongside international names like EENK from South Korea, Only from Denmark’s Bestseller, American label
Climate Project, and eveningwear brands from Malaysia and Vietnam.

Emerging talent support and retail platform Labelhood this season will relocate to Suhe Haus, an old warehouse-turned-art space by the storied Suzhou Creek with Shushu/Tong, Mark Gong, Oude Waag, Zita Tan, Yirantian, Cello Sonata and Jarelzhang in the lineup.
Samuel Gui Yang, a trailblazer of the New Chinese Style movement, will show off schedule on Oct. 13. Jacques Wei, a local designer fast gaining global attention for his blend of old-school Parisian glam with new-age surrealism, will show off schedule on Oct. 10.
Major global brands and retailers are hosting events during the weeklong fashion week in Shanghai, as well. H&M and Mercedes-Benz are set to unveil their latest collaborations with Chinese designers on Oct. 9 and 14, respectively.
The Swedish fast-fashion giant formed an in-depth partnership with Shanghai Fashion Week in April 2024 and released a sold-out collaboration with Chinese label Garçon by Garçon last year.
Adidas will have a series of events under the theme “Power of Three” at the historic Shanghai Old City Hall by the Bund. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Adidas Shanghai Creative Center, and the activation will feature collaborations with musicians, dancers, multidisciplinary artists and top models.
Kering will reveal the winner of the fourth Kering Generation Award with a ceremony at the Museum of Art Pudong on Oct. 16. This year’s award is centered around the theme of “Driving Positive Impact in Water Resources,” and is dedicated to identifying Chinese startups and technological achievements with the potential to accelerate sustainable innovation within China’s fashion and beauty industries.
British luxury department store Harrods will present a series of talks highlighting leading fashion voices in Shanghai and London at the team rooms inside its private members’ club, The Residence.
Independent fashion magazine A Magazine Curated By will partner with Labelhood for an exhibition that will showcase a series of original works by international designers and special commissions from a group of Chinese designers, including Xander Zhou, Uma Wang, Shushu/Tong, Rui Zhou, Oscar Ouyang, Windowsen, M Essential, and Samuel Gui Yang.
