NEW YORK — It was a successful 90 minutes for Hilary Duff on Thursday evening, who sold an estimated $25,000 worth of her new Elizabeth Arden fragrance With Love Hilary Duff during a personal appearance at Macy’s Herald Square.
While Duff kicked off her 18th birthday last September with the announcement she was founding a lifestyle empire, the celebrity is taking time now to develop the projects she’s already committed to.
“There are a few things that we’ve done that I won’t be continuing, because I just don’t have enough time,” she said, adding that limited-edition cosmetics palettes were among the projects to be jettisoned. “I want to stay away from makeup for right now, although I might do it in the future. I want to have the time to really focus on it and learn about it, like I did with the fragrance.”
Duff currently is finishing up her new album, which “hopefully will be out in November,” she said, and considering several film projects. In addition, her tween clothing line has been launched, and Duff has another apparel project on her wish list: “Hopefully we’ll be doing a more exclusive line meant for girls my age and older,” she said.
