After a 16-month search, St. John has finally found its new chief executive officer.
Glenn McMahon, president of Dolce & Gabbana U.S.A., has been tapped as ceoof the $400 million Irvine, Calif.-based company, effective Sept. 1. McMahon will report to St. John’s board of directors.
Bruce Fetter, who has served as interim ceo since March, will resume his role as president/chief operating officer.
The search began after the departure of former ceo Richard Cohen, who left St. John in April 2006. He was replaced on a temporary basis by board member Philip B. Miller, who stayed for a year and was succeeded temporarily by Fetter.
