Burt’s Bees Baby, a lifestyle brand focusing on the health and well-being of babies and moms, is moving into the kids’ category this fall with the launch of Burt’s Bees Kids.
Burt’s Bees Kids will offer 100 percent organic cotton clothing in sizes 2 to 6 for girls and 2 to 7 for boys. The categories will include tops, bottoms, hosiery, underwear, pajamas, tunics and dresses.
Burt’s Bees Baby and Burt’s Bees Kids are licensed to Ayablu Inc., based in Fairfield, Conn.
“The moms whose babies are outgrowing our baby products have been asking for more, specifically, product for the next stage of their child’s life — bigger sizes,” said Michelle Visser, Burt’s Bees Baby founder.
Burt’s Bees Kids’ clothing wholesales from $5.50 to $15. The line is targeted to retailers such as Target Corp. and Diapers.com, and will be sold on burtsbeesbaby.com.
