Hairstylist Malcolm Edwards said the hair backstage at Burberry complemented the “bleak chic” colors in the collection. To wit, Edwards, who worked with L’Oréal Professional, designed a center-parted, wavy style to accommodate high hats the models donned. The dry texture of last season, added Edwards, was replaced with a moisturized finish — which he got by working a blend of L’Oréal Tecni.art’s Liss Control and Fix Move into the hair.
Makeup artist Wendy Rowe tested her skill with an understated face — an artful blend of foundation, concealer, a tad of pale brown MAC Cosmetics shadow, called Aria, on the lid and a slick of sheer MAC Freshbrew lipstick on the mouth. Rowe summed up the look as “like the feeling and texture of cream poured onto chocolate cake.”
