MILAN — Dunhill is revisiting and reviving its heritage by launching its first watches in three years.
Under the creative direction of Kim Jones, who joined the company in 2008, the Swiss-made collection based on the Dunhill Speedograph — a sophisticated flyback chronograph, which was first launched in 1903 — features movements by Jaeger-LeCoultre, with which Dunhill first worked during the Fifties and Sixties. Jaeger-LeCoultre, like Dunhill, is owned by Compagnie Financière Richemont SA.
“Dunhill’s new collection represents a return to the classical values of the brand as the true expression of a uniquely British point of view on modern luxury,” Dunhill said Thursday.
The Dunhill Facet watch, a slim, rectangular timepiece with faceted glass, which made its debut in 1936, returns in a 50-mm case of stainless steel or pink gold, presented on a matte black or matte chocolate alligator strap and features a Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 822 movement.

The Dunhill Classic watch is available in a 38-mm stainless steel case, accompanied by a matte black alligator, full stainless steel or pink gold bracelet strap and features a Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 896-dato movement.
The sporty Dunhill Moonphases timepiece comes in a 40-mm PVD-covered stainless steel case with a black rubberized leather strap and features a Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 924 movement.
The timepieces will go on sale globally in November or December.
