An enthusiastic crowd made its way to the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Monday night to toast the “The Debt,” a remake of an Israeli spy thriller that spans 30 years and multiple continents, and stars Helen Mirren and Jessica Chastian as a Mossad agent in her older and younger incarnations.
Guests including Olivier Theyskens, Billie Jean King, Zac Posen, Damon Dash, Darren Criss and Justin Bartha partied in the hotel’s basement, where Chastain was a center of attention.
“What about when I took ’em down?” the actress crowed, brandishing a finger gun at Gina Gershon before eventually laying across an ottoman with two friends, apparently to aid breathing in her tightly corseted powder-blue Dior dress.
“I haven’t seen ‘Tree of Life’ yet, but she was really wonderful in this,” Theyskens said.
