After the Emmys ceremony Sunday night, dozens of winners and winners-by-association poured into the Governors Ball at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which had been transformed into a sort of sunburst, disco-ball, zodiac palace. Anna Paquin and husband Stephen Moyer laid claim to a “True Blood” table, while nearby, Lea Michele toasted her mom and fellow Gleeks with a dirty martini and Rose Byrne broke bread with her “Damages” co-star Glenn Close. Jimmy Fallon and Amy Poehler kept to a small area, and once word got out that Tina Fey was in the room, a couple of gawking guests stood and watched her before mustering the courage to ask for an autograph.
The “30 Rock” star and nominee wasn’t the only one with a fan club. For every celeb in the place there was a woman in a spaghetti-strap, floor-length sequin gown armed with a camera. Julianna Margulies agreed to a few shots, as did Outstanding Reality Competition winner Tom Colicchio.
