Those still mourning the shuttering of Upper East Side watering hole La Goulue will find a little relief in Lyon, a French eatery opening Wednesday from former Goulue partner François Latapie and real estate whiz Penny Bradley.
Location: The old Cafe Bruxelles space on Greenwich Avenue at West 13th Street.
Atmosphere: The space, which seats fewer than 100, was designed by interior gurus du jour Roman and Williams — think old maps and blackboards with magnetic letters.
Food: Updated bouchon fare such as chicken quenelles and lamb shank with white-bean stew and merguez sausage. Chef Chris Leahy comes from BLT Prime.
Drink: Cocktails, French and American wines
Vitals: 118 Greenwich Avenue, 212-242-5966; lyonnyc.com
