“It’s usually great to be married to Reed Krakoff but not tonight,” joked Delphine Krakoff at a Coach-sponsored preview of “Alexander Liberman: No Regrets” at Ameringer & Yohe Fine Art, which is showing the artist’s original graphic paintings of brightly colored dots from 1959 and 1960. “Tonight I’m a little embarrassed — I look like a painting.”
Delphine, clad in a limited-edition Coach walking coat inspired by a Liberman design, needn’t have worried. She was receiving compliments all night.
“Oh my God, I love your coat! I want one!” cried a woman racing up to her.
“Well,” Delphine replied, “all you have to do is go to the Coach store and buy one.”
