J.McLaughlin has appointed Mark Cassebaum, an executive with 25 years of experience at consumer, retail and logistics firms, chief financial officer.
Greg Unis, chief executive officer of J.McLaughlin, in a statement Wednesday said Cassebaum’s “depth of financial expertise and operational insight will play a critical role in supporting our teams and propelling the brand into the next phase of growth.”
Cassebaum succeeds Bob Dwyer, who left J.McLaughlin in August to join Ignite Fitness Holdings.
His appointment comes at a pivotal time as the brand approaches its 50th anniversary. J.McLaughlin has a new leadership that intends to “amplify” its brand image and storytelling. In July Greg Unis, former president of the Victoria’s Secret and Pink divisions of Victoria’s Secret & Co., became CEO and subsequently, Lee Anne Henrico became chief creative officer, a broad role in which she oversees women’s and men’s design, product conception and creative marketing and communications. Kevin McLaughlin, cofounder of the brand in 1977 along with his brother Jay, is remaining with the company on a full-time basis.
